Entering and Managing Sales Orders Entering a sales order is the first step in the sales order process. When you enter a sales order, the system assigns a next status and last status to each detail line according to the order activity rules and the processing options for sales order entry. For example, when you enter a sales order, the system assigns a last status of 520 (enter sales order) and a next status of 540 (print pick slip).
