Reviewing and Revising Messages in the Work Center

Concept

You can view your messages in the Work Center. Messages sent from other users appear in your Personal In Basket queue. You can revise the text of these messages in any of your queues. The system displays the actual message and enables you to change the existing text or add new text.

 

Procedure

In this task, you will review and revise messages in the Work Center.

Step Action
Navigate to the Work Center form.

Click in the Fast Path field.

Enter the desired information into the Fast Path field. Enter “WC“.
Click the Fast Path button.

Use the Work Center form to view and revise messages.

Step Action
Click the Arrow button.

Click the Arrow button.

Click the Arrow button.

Click the Arrow button.

Click the Blanks Invalid link.

The system displays the message associated with the error in the message pane.
Next, you will revise this error message.

Click the Row button.

Click the Message Revisions option.

Use the Message Revisions form to make revisions to the existing message.

Step Action
Click in the From field.

Enter the desired information into the From field. Enter “1“.
Click in the Contact field.

Enter the desired information into the Contact field. Enter “Robin Sabo“.
Click in the Subject field.

Enter the desired information into the Subject field. Enter “Batch Error“.
Click in the Text field.
Enter the desired information into the field. Enter “I am validating this error.“.
Click the OK button.

Step Action
When you click on the error message in the Work Center form, the system will display the custom message you entered on the Message Revisions form.

Click the Close button.

You have successfully reviewed and revised messages in the Work Center.
