Moving Messages to Another Queue

Concept

You can move a message from one queue to another. For example, you can move a message from your Personal In Basket to your Submitted Jobs folder.

Procedure

In this task, you will move a message from one queue to another.

Step Action
Navigate to the Work Center form.

Click in the Fast Path field.

Enter the desired information into the Fast Path field. Enter “WC“.
Click the Fast Path button.

Use the Work Center form to move a message from the Personal In Basket queue to the Submitted Jobs queue.

Step Action
Click the Arrow button.

Click the EnterpriseOne Job R014021 link.

Click the Row menu.

Click the Reassign option.

Use the Assign Message form to move the selected message to the Submitted Jobs queue.

Step Action
Click the Visual Assist button.

Click the 08 option.

Click the Select button.

Click the OK button.

Step Action
Note that the message is not in the Personal In Basket queue.

Click the Submitted Jobs button.

The system now displays the same message in the Submitted Jobs queue.
Click the Close button.

You have successfully moved a message from one queue to another.
